The Festival of Sails is back for 2025, and this year's program promises to be bigger and better than ever! From world-class sailing action to an exciting line-up of music, food, and entertainment, the Geelong Waterfront will be buzzing for three unforgettable days from January 25-27, 2025.

Live Music for Everyone

We're bringing a diverse range of artists to the festival stages, so there's something for everyone. Rock out with The Southern River Band, sing along to the hits of Queen with tribute legends Queen Forever, or bask in sunny acoustic and folk vibes from Freya Josephine Hollick. For the kids (and kids at heart), The Mik Maks will deliver a high-energy, family-friendly performance.

Festival Experiences Not to Miss

This year's program is packed with experiences on and off the water:

  • Regatta Cruise: Hop aboard the ticketed Regatta Cruise on Saturday, January 25 for the best seat in the house to watch the thrilling finish of the legendary Melbourne to Geelong Passage Race.

  • RAAF Aerial Show: Don't miss the exhilarating RAAF Roulettes Aerial Show as they soar over the regatta.

  • Paddock on the Bay: Hosted by Paddock Bakery, this lively spot at Fairnie Park brings you Geelong's best eats, drinks, and live music.

  • Fireworks: Day 1 wraps up with a dazzling fireworks display lighting up the bay at 9 PM.

  • Come & Try Sailing: Get out on the water with two days of FREE Come & Try Sailing on state-of-the-art RS21 keelboats.

  • Yoga by the Bay: Start Day 3 with free Yoga by the Bay on Monday morning, then close out the festival with the Sunday Session Presentation Party.
And that's just the beginning!
