The Johnson 70 Hull No. 2: a custom-built yacht on her way to Canada

Last week, the Johnson 70 Hull No. 2 was shipped to Canada, expected to arrive at Victoria Harbor in early January. The owner eagerly anticipates receiving this New Year's gift. This marks the first Johnson yacht to reach Canada, and we look forward to seeing more of our yachts in Canadian waters.

The Johnson 70 is a yacht designed by Bill Dixon of Dixon Yacht Design. Its exterior design offers a superyacht experience in a manageable length overall (LOA). The yacht's styling and use of space are advanced, setting it apart from other production boats.

For the owner of Hull No. 2, the decision was made to opt for a four-stateroom configuration, with one of the rooms converted into a pantry to provide additional storage tailored to his specific needs.

In addition, based on the owner's request, we added a Day Head in the skylounge area and installed Magic Glass, which allows the glass to be transparent when the head is not in use. This feature ensures a more open and spacious feel, maintaining a clear and airy view.

With its sleek exterior design and innovative use of space, the Johnson 70 stands out from other production yachts, offering both elegance and practicality. We can fully customize the yacht to meet any client request, helping them realize their dream yacht.

Twin 1,150hp CAT engines give her a top speed of some 24 knots and she is fitted with Sleipner Vector Fins Zero-Speed Stabilizers.

Stay tuned for additional news from Johnson Yachts as the build of the Johnson 70 progresses and new models are developed.
