Poralu Marine has reaffirmed its commitment to the Asia-Pacific marina industry by securing an exclusive Silver Sponsorship with the Marina Industries Association (MIA).

For over 40 years, Poralu Marine has been a global leader in designing, producing, and distributing high-quality aluminium pontoons and gangways. As part of the newly created Wearth Group—a unification of multiple brands and activities under a shared vision—Poralu Marine continues to expand its expertise beyond marinas and harbours to include broader environmental and infrastructure solutions. Wearth Group integrates multiple business entities, including MIA's Clean Tech Partner, The Searial Cleaners, which specializes in high-tech environmental marine waste collection solutions for marinas, harbours and coastlines. Their innovative Invisi-Bubble system, a breakthrough solution for silt and debris management, was recognised last year with the prestigious Marinas24 Innovation Award.

Poralu Marine's commitment to excellence is evident in its extensive portfolio, with over 15,000 installations worldwide. Notable projects in the Asia-Pacific region include the Royal Geelong Yacht Club and Westernport Marina in Australia, Tauranga Marina and Chaffers Marina in New Zealand, and Ocean Marina Jomtien in Pattaya, Thailand, the largest marina in Southeast Asia.

Ekrem Reyhancioglu, Director of Poralu Marine Asia-Pacific, commented on the partnership: "Poralu Marine has a growing presence in the Asia-Pacific region, and we appreciate the work of the MIA and the strong support it provides to the industry, particularly through its environmental programs, initiatives, and guidance. Our alignment with MIA is a testament to our vision of sustainable marina development."

"Through the creation of Wearth Group, we have transformed our approach to the industry. We are no longer just a marina solutions provider but a collective force driving positive social and environmental change. Wearth Group reflects a vision where industry serves as a catalyst for economic growth while protecting and respecting the environment, society, and well-being of individuals."

Poralu Marine's expertise extends beyond marina construction to pioneering floating infrastructure solutions. The company has developed a wide range of floating buildings, including offices, restaurants, hotels, and even a floating theatre in Lyon, France. By leveraging its advanced engineering and marine construction capabilities, Poralu Marine is shaping the future of waterfront development, offering innovative, resilient, and environmentally conscious solutions for coastal and urban environments.

Suzanne Davies, MIA CEO said that the partnership is a great fit commenting, "The partnership has very strong alignment as the MIA, and industry shares Poralu Marine's environmental values and is very supportive of our environmental programs such as Clean Marina, Fish Friendly Marinas, Climate Ready and the new Marine Sustainability Pledge."

Davies commented that becoming an industry sponsor is "a great way for suppliers to remain 'top of mind' and to ensure connections are made and high exposure in our growing industry". In a recent MIA Member survey, it was reported that nearly 70 per cent of members would actively consider MIA sponsors when making purchasing and acquisition decisions. "The MIA looks forward to this strong and mutually beneficial partnership with Poralu Marine and we are confident members will provide their support", added Davies.

Details of all MIA sponsors and partners can be found on the MIA website.
