The island in the Canary archipelago, Fuerteventura, will host the start of the Rallye des Iles du Soleil for the first time in 2025.

After Lanzarote and La Palma, the fleet of the 7th edition of the transatlantic rally organised by Grand Pavois Organisation will head for the southern of the island to the new Jandia Marina. Fuerteventura is a wonderful island in the Canary archipelago, with its unique coastline, long sandy beaches, turquoise waters, endless sand dunes, the mountain of Tindaya and traditional villages such as Betancuria. It's a real chance and opportunity for the Rallye des Iles du Soleil to set off from Fuerteventura in 2025, as the fleet, as well as discovering an a typical and authentic island, will be heading straight for Cape Verde.

Alain Pochon (President of Grand Pavois Organisation): 'It's areal asset to be able to rely on loyal partners like the Communauté de Communes de Marie-Galante for our arrival destination and Calero Marinas for our departure ports. Setting off from a new port and a new destination is a real added value for our transatlantic race, as it allows us to bring something new and discover a new departure destination, especially as Fuerteventura is a truly unique island in the Canary archipelago with its emblematic landscapes. We'd like to thank Calero Marinas, with whom we've been working on this Rally since 2017'.

An important partnership with Calero Marinas in the Canary Archipelago

Launched in 2017, the partnership with Calero Marinas has developed over the years. Calero Marinas owns and manages four marinas in the Canary Islands: Puerto Calero and Marina Lanzarote on the island of Lanzarote, Marina La Palma on the island of La Palma and now the new marina Jandia on the island of Fuerteventura. Calero Marinas has always been close to the Grand Pavois Organisation and the Rallye des Iles du Soleil, offering top-class facilities, a quality welcome and a professional service that meets the highest European standards. Having Calero Marinas as a partner at the start of the Rallye des Iles du Soleil is a real guarantee of quality!

Calero Marinas' new marina, Marina Jandia, located in the town of Morro Jable (in the extreme south of the island), was designed by the architect Nestor Perez Batista and was directly inspired by traditional Canarian architecture. It offers a full range of nautical services and 310 new berths for boats from 6metres to 50-metre superyachts, as well as a modern leisure, shopping and restaurant area, all in a unique and emblematic marine setting.
