The Superyacht Cup Palma 2025 has welcomed an upsurge in new entries as Europe's longest running superyacht regatta looks ahead to its 29th edition.

From 25-28 June the Bay of Palma will now host no fewer than four of the sleek, high-performance day sailor Baltic 68 Café Racers, with Hormar and Pink Gin Verde joining their Javier Jaudenes designed 20.7m stablemates Ganesha and Open Season. The quartet will face each other in their own racing class.

Representing another arm of the diverse superyacht family, Linnear Aurora is another new entry, coming in alongside Atalante and Vijonara to make it a trio of the graceful Hoek Truly Classic128s at the Mallorcan festival of sail. The Hoek TCs will also have a separate class.

While a number of other yachts have also shown an interest in taking part, the largest prospective entry at the 2025 celebration of superyacht sailing is currently Perini Navi's 47m superketch The Aquarius. Meanwhile organisers are also delighted to welcome the 24m Y8 Sveam, with the Jaudenes design making its first ever regatta appearance.

Sveam's presence will add further spice to the high-performance mix in the fleet, likely facing friendly competition from the 39m Tripp design Cervo, and the Farr designed duo of SYC first-timer Gelliceaux and defending champion Rose, with the 24m Wally out to make it an SYC three in a row.

"We are delighted to see so many fantastic yachts coming to join the party with our new Venue Partner the Club de Mar-Mallorca," said Event Director Kate Branagh.

"Superyacht Cup Palma has always sought to deliver a double-whammy with great racing out on the Bay of Palma and an equally vibrant social scene ashore — we are looking forward to delivering that once again in June."

Warm appreciation was also sent out to two of SYC's returning Silver Partners, namely Vitters Shipyard and Pinmar Yacht Supply (PYS), a former SYC backer under their Rolling Stock brand and now Thursday's Happy Hour sponsor.

"Pinmar Yacht Supply has enjoyed a long-standing association with the global superyacht community, and we are proud to continue that legacy by offering our wholehearted support to the Superyacht Cup Palma. As one of the premier events in the yachting calendar, it presents a fantastic opportunity to not only celebrate the spirit of the industry but also to make new connections and rekindle relationships within the fleet. We're looking forward to engaging with our partners, clients, and friends on and off the water," said Rupert Savage, Group Commercial Director.

Also in the Silver Partner supporter group are regular sponsors Pendennis Shipyard, RSB Rigging Solutions, Marinepool, first day race sponsor Pantaenius, and Friday's Happy Hour sponsor North Sails.

With the new venue adding excitement to the regatta, one of the highlights of the Superyacht Cup Palma remains unchanged — the St. Regis Midsummer BBQ for owners at SYC's long-standing Preferred Hotel Partner the St. Regis Mardavall Mallorca Resort.

Following registration, the Captain's Briefing and the Welcome Cocktail party get under way on the SYC Dock on Wednesday 25 June, while racing begins on the Bay of Palma at 13:00 on Thursday 26 June.
