With just days to go until the start of the Tre Golfi Sailing Week, excitement is building: 125 boats are entered, including 32 Maxis and, for the first time in the event's history, 4 multihulls.

Organized by Circolo del Remo e della Vela Italia with Yacht Club Italiano of Genoa and Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia, with Rolex as Official Timepiece and Loro Piana, the Tre Golfi Sailing Week confirms its standing as one of the Mediterranean's most prestigious sailing events.

A key new development for the 2025 edition is the arrival of Wally Yachts among the event's official partners. An iconic brand known for innovation, design and performance, Wally further strengthens the event's international profile, enhancing both the sporting and lifestyle dimensions - contributing to enhancing the spectacle both on and off the water with, among others, the newly launched wallyrocket51 Team Django, which, featuring a top-level crew will strengthen the ORC fleet.

The sporting program will unfold in three main stages: it kicks off from 7 to 10 May with the ORC Mediterranean Championship, a key lead-up event to the 2026 ORC World Championship. On 16 May, the historic Regata dei Tre Golfi will set off in staggered starts from 16:00 in the Bay of Santa Lucia, Naples. Celebrating its 70th edition, this 150-mile offshore race will pass through some of the most spectacular scenery in the Mediterranean, crossing the gulfs of Naples, Gaeta, and Salerno and rounding iconic islands such as Ischia, Ponza, Capri, and Li Galli. Finally, from 17 to 22 May, the spotlight shifts to Sorrento for the prestigious IMA Maxi European Championship, which will bring together the world's top Maxi yachts for a series of inshore races.

Boats will be hosted across Sorrento, Vico Equense, and Naples, with both offshore and inshore races taking place in one of the world's most scenic maritime backdrops. On the water, the competition promises to be intense: highlights include the Super Maxis from 93 to 100 feet vying for line honors, and a highly competitive fleet of 72-footers in the "Maxi Grand Prix Class." The debut of the multihulls - contesting the new Multihull Trophy - will also be closely watched.

Big sailing and great social moments: an exceptional hospitality program

Alongside the racing, the Tre Golfi Sailing Week will offer a rich social schedule designed to celebrate the spirit of camaraderie that has always defined the event. Festivities begin on 8 May with a DJ Set sponsored by North Sails at the Regatta Village in Marina di Sorrento, where daily Pasta Parties will also be held at the end of each race day. On 16 May, before the start of the historic 70th Regata dei Tre Golfi, a flag-raising ceremony will be held at noon at the Circolo del Remo e della Vela Italia. Together with the vital support of the Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia, a traditional pre-race spaghetti dinner will be served on the docks of the two historic clubs. At 20:00, this will be followed by a private dinner and DJ set for members and guests.

On 18 May, the spotlight turns to the exclusive Loro Piana Dinner, dedicated to participants of the IMA Maxi European Championship. The following evening, on 19 May, Maxi yacht owners will be welcomed to a cocktail event hosted by the International Maxi Association at the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria in Sorrento. The week will conclude in spectacular fashion on 21 May with the Tre Golfi Starred Chefs Dinner Party at Le Axidie, where 30 Michelinstarred chefs from the Campania region will showcase their cuisine in an event open to all owners, crews, dignitaries, and guests.

The President of CRV Italia, Roberto Mottola di Amato, commented: "We are honored and delighted by the continued enthusiasm shown by owners from all over the world. We hope that the 2025 edition will be truly memorable, both on and off the water. Thanks to the support of partners such as Rolex, Loro Piana, North Sails, our latest addition Wally, and all our sponsors, we are confident the welcome will live up to the traditions of our territory."

The Tre Golfi Sailing Week 2025 is supported by outstanding sponsors including Rolex, Loro Piana, North Sails, Wally Yachts, Banca Patrimoni Sella & C., Ferrarelle, Ottogas, Deloitte, Italia Yachts, Le Axidie, Caffè Borbone, Schenker, and Consorzio Prosecco DOC.
