Apreamare introduces the all-new Gozzo 48 Cabin, the evolution of a Mediterranean nautical icon

by Apreamare 17 May 10:07 UTC

The all new Gozzo 48 Cabin extends the Apreamare Gozzo line with a model designed to offer superior comfort, vast external and internal living spaces, and Italian artisanal excellence in every detail.

With the debut of the all new Gozzo 48 Cabin, Apreamare introduces the new flagship in the Gozzo line, continuing along a path of growth and innovation with its roots in the Sorrento shipyard's maritime tradition. Designed for discerning owners, the new model represents a further evolution of the Sorrentine gozzo, reimagined with a contemporary twist to offer generous spaces, livability and utmost artisanal care, as well as notable seaworthiness.

The project was born once again from a concept by Cataldo Aprea and the joint work of Marco Casali (Too Design) for the design and style, Umberto Tagliavini (Marine Design) for the naval architecture, as well as the shipyard's internal Technical Office. The result is a boat that fully reflects the Apreamare vision: to combine elegance, functionality and construction solidity, without ever straying from the brand's identity.

The new Gozzo 48 Cabin stands out for its vast spaces, designed to ensure maximum comfort on board both when cruising and at anchor. The walkaround deck is designed to encourage relaxed and convivial outdoor living: as guests board, they find a large cockpit featuring a generous sunpad and an L-shaped sofa. The manually adjustable outdoor table can become one with the sunbed. Alternatively, the owner can opt for an electric table that disappears into the floor. At the bow, a second sunbathing area is enriched with a comfortable and conversational arrangement with a sofa and armchairs.

The interiors of the Gozzo 48 Cabin are conceived to ensure seamless continuity with the cockpit. The large glass surfaces amplify the natural light and offer well-proportioned spaces, finished with quality materials and fine craftsmanship: timber, fabrics, leather and custom details. The internal layout includes a comfortable dinette with a 2.40-meter U-shaped sofa and a fully-equipped galley of over 2.80 meters, larger than any competitor in this size class.

To increase functionality and comfort, Apreamare has introduced a further element of innovation: the steering position starboard is equipped with a pilot seat that can electrically become an additional module of the sofa, giving great versatility to the spaces.

The layout below deck includes the possibility of having two or three cabins with two large bathrooms featuring separate showers. At the stern it is also possible to include a cabin for the captain, accessible from the cockpit. From a technical point of view, the new Gozzo 48 Cabin builds on the approach of the Gozzo range, with design solutions conceived to offer safe and comfortable navigation at all times. The deep-V hull with variable geometry, designed by Umberto Tagliavini, guarantees excellent seakeeping, even in demanding conditions. The Gozzo 48 Cabin can be powered with two Volvo Penta IPS 700 or 800 engines that ensure fuel efficiency, maneuvering agility, and high performance. The traditional shaft line version with Volvo Penta 600 hp engines is also available on request.

This new model is part of a careful and measured design evolution process that has led Apreamare to consolidate its presence on the international nautical scene. The shipyard stands out for its design coherence and the high level of craftsmanship expressed in each vessel, qualities appreciated by a clientele looking for authentic, beautifully appointed boats that can withstand the changes in fashion that come with time.

Cataldo Aprea, President of the shipyard and a key figure in the stylistic and design definition of the range, comments: "With the brand new Gozzo 48 Cabin, we are continuing on the evolutionary path we began several years ago with the aim of increasingly meeting the desires of our owners. We are not looking for a forceful style or striking solutions. Rather, we seek the balance between innovation, comfort and respect for tradition - that is a living part of our product philosophy"

The Gozzo 48 Cabin fully represents the Apreamare core value: giving new shape to tradition, remaining faithful to a seafaring culture that favors substance, understated elegance and construction quality. Each new model is the expression of know-how gained over almost 170 years of activity, enriched by an eye that is always attentive to contemporaneity and the real needs of those who truly love to navigate.
