Columbus Yachts presents the new Atlantique 47 metres M/Y Acqua Chiara. Based on authentic style, this line was devised specifically for Owners who make each cruise a truly enriching discovery and immersion in nature.
Her distinctive exterior profile features taut yet fluid lines widening amidship and tapering towards the stern and bow. Undoubtedly an innovative design that focuses on liveability on board and ongoing contact with the sea.
Built with steel hull and aluminium superstructure, M/Y Acqua Chiara main characteristics include a 9.10m width, a 2.4m draft and an intentional 499GT volume.
Columbus Atlantique 47 boasts interior and exterior by Hot Lab studio and it marks a fundamental step in the evolution of the Shipyard design. Naval engineering is by Columbus Yachts.
The stern lines, as for the whole Atlantique range, are unquestionably the core element of this superyacht, which makes sailing inspiration its true identity. Outdoor, the stern spaces are distributed on three close levels: from bow to stern, we find a first covered dining area, a living area with a scenic pool and fold-out balconies, and finally a platform with transformer, just 50 cm above the sea surface.
The interiors are classic with modern touches such as the use of Vetrite, Sicis mosaic and dark metal effect finishes.
The salon is furnished with large custom sofas in white sponge fabric and blue edges evocative of a relaxation island. Four Fendi Totu armchairs and a teak coffee table complete the décor.
The white parquet floors combine with the natural oak ceilings partly lacquered in matt white. On the starboard and port sides, the wall coverings in lacquered wood with a metal effect frame the large floor-to-ceiling windows. Towards the stern there is a big Stopsol glass that integrates the 75-inch TV.
The professional galley is located on the port side of the ship, and crossing the lobby we reach the Owner cabin fitted with a large wardrobe, a sofa, a bathroom with tub and a shower and vanity. The glass walls in Galaxy blue nuances and the details of the bed frame and bedside tables in dark brown leather combined with burnished metal finish coverings are to great effect. The wall lamps and the table lamp by Bonaldo, Sofi collection in blown glass and burnished brass lend a refined touch to the room. The bathroom, which includes both a shower with hammam system and a tub, is in white marble with shower and wall coverings in silver mosaic forming a geometric design by Galena Sicis.
Behind the staircase, in burnished metal with dark brown treads and hammered brown leather handrail, we find a Vetrite wall in different shades. The Cantalupi lamps, tubular in borosilicate glass twisted with black and white metal, add the finishing touches.
The forward part of the upper deck hosts a scenic swimming pool equipped with sun loungers, a sofa and side tables. At the stern, the large lounge area is furnished with sofas and armchairs as well as an 8-seater table all in teak from the Talenti line and it can easily be transformed into a cinema room.
Still on this deck, a formal second table, in teak and marble with Minotti chairs, is in the lounge and it can comfortably seat 12 people. The chandelier is from the Linea collection by Viabizzuno.
Opening the floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides as well as the glass entrance towards the stern generates the unparalleled feeling of being in a terrace on the sea.
The bow wall is decorated with a large custom mosaic installation in shades of blue, light blue, black and white, also by Sicis.
Continuing towards the bow, on the port side there is the pantry and the dayhead. The lobby leads to the bridge, adjacent to the Captain cabin. A large relaxation area with sofas and armchairs is located at the center of the sundeck. A console at the stern and a large sunpad with a bar at the bow complete this area.
Below deck of Atlantique 47 there are two king-size bed cabins and two cabins with twin beds, all with private bathrooms in marble and geometric mosaic Sicis. To contrast with the dark tones of the bed frame in dark-brown leather and the different nuances of Vetrite applied in the cabins and the lobby, the colour white was selected for the floor carpet. The decorative appliques by Bonbori-Brokis are reminiscent of the traditional paper lamps found in Japanese temples. The bedside lamps in the double cabins are in gold and black metal from the Superluna line by Oluce.
All the doors in the sleeping area are in charcoal-grey metal and glass interlaid with a metallic fabric called Aquafil by Syntarqui.
A crew of 8 people find comfortable accommodation in 4 cabins on the lower deck forward, whereas the Captain cabin is next to the wheelhouse.
The 5-metre tender is housed in the starboard side garage, while the rescue tender and two jet skis are stowed in the second garage on the port side forward.
Two engines of 1350 horsepower each will provide a maximum speed of 15.5 knots, a cruising speed of 14.5 knots and a range of 3400 nautical miles at a 12-knot speed.
M/Y Acqua Chiara is managed by Fraser Yachts and is available for charter.
