RemigoOne Neo Electric Outboard launches: More powerful, smarter, and ready for adventure

by Remigo 2 Sep 05:20 UTC

European electric boating innovator Remigo is unveiling its next-generation outboard, the RemigoOne Neo. Building on the success of the original RemigoOne, the Neo model blends elegant design with enhanced performance and intelligent features, making it the go-to choice for electric boaters seeking simplicity, reliability, and sleek aesthetics.

New for 2025, Neo delivers up to 1500 W of power, equivalent to a four-horsepower combustion outboard. This high-power setting is ideal for overcoming strong winds, tides, or getting a heavier boat under way, and is implemented as a boost mode that runs for 60 seconds before returning to the standard 1000 W cruising mode. Users can immediately reactivate boost simply by pressing the forward button again, allowing continuous operation at 1500 W if desired.

"The boost mode gives skippers an extra gear when they need it, without wasting battery on marginal gains the rest of the time," explains Marko Vrtovec, CEO of Remigo. "The difference between 1 kW and 1.5 kW is minimal, especially when cruising away from shore. But when you need that burst of torque and acceleration, it's right there."

With its integrated 1085 Wh battery, aluminum unibody, and variable shaft length, the RemigoOne Neo is engineered for a wide range of recreational boats up to 1.5 tons, tenders, and dinghies. It is the lightest motor in its class at just 15.5 kg (34 lbs), including battery. Leave the outboard bracket installed onboard, and the carry weight is just 13 kg (29 lbs).

The Neo also features a redesigned propeller for quieter, more efficient operation; an optional handheld or tiller-mounted remote control; and Remigo's innovative streamlined, blade-shaped design that allows for precise low-speed maneuvering even when the motor is not running. Charging is flexible and fast—just three hours with the optional fast charger—or via solar panel or external battery while on a mooring or under way.

The RemigoOne Neo is now available globally through Remigo’s network of distributors and dealers. For more information, visit www.remigo.eu or www.remigousa.com.
