The 29er European Cup and Hungarian Championship will officially start tomorrow, hosted by the Alsóörs Marina Sailing Club. Over the course of four days, teams from five nations - Hungary, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Slovenia - will compete on Lake Balaton in this prestigious international regatta.

Ahead of the event, several crews took to the water today for training sessions. Brave sailors faced challenging conditions, with strong northerly winds reaching 20-30 knots, testing both skill and endurance.

The venue is fully prepared: race marks are set, and all organizational details are in place. Tomorrow's first start will mark the official beginning of the competition, eagerly anticipated by both participants and spectators.

"We are proud that Alsóörs can host such a prestigious international regatta. Lake Balaton offers excellent conditions for the 29er class, and we look forward to witnessing exciting and fair racing over the coming days," said Peter Farkas, the international Race officer.
