SY Doris Takes a Major Step Forward with Her New MarsKeel Installed

In cooperation with the engineer and builder Snediker Yacht Restorations, we produced a high-quality casting. It is approx. 43,000 lb. Snediker has now successfully fitted the keel to the hull and is in the process of installing the keel bolts, which secure the keel in place. The fitting of the keel to the hull is a major step in the building of the vessel.
The installation reflects the level cooperation between all parties and the detail MarsKeel Technology brings to every project for over 45 years.

Installation Without Compromise
Working with Snediker Yacht Restoration, we didn't just cast a keel, we contributed a lasting part to the new history of a historic Yacht, allowing it to sail long into the future.
Embedded and professionally engineered lifting points, cast directly into the keel along with custom lifting brackets, enabled precise, controlled movement from the casting floor to the customer's shop floor. This ensured safety and stability throughout casting, finishing, shipping, and delivery
