Dubai Offshore Sailing Club (DOSC), the Middle East's largest and longest-established sailing club, will host its Youth Development Week from 13-17 October 2025.

The initiative reflects DOSC's mission to develop future talent and cement Dubai as a hub for youth sailing excellence.

This isn't just a camp. It's five days of hands-on training, world-class instruction, and confidence-building challenges — designed for beginners as young as six, all the way up to teens looking to sharpen their skills on the water.

The programme includes:

  • Beginner Sailing (ages 6-13): Morning sessions introducing the fundamentals of sailing and sparking a love for the sea.
  • Junior RIB Club (ages 10-16): Powerboating training led by certified instructors, with separate morning and afternoon groups.

Delivered by RYA-qualified instructors against the backdrop of DOSC's Jumeirah Beach home, Youth Development Week blends internationally recognised standards with an engaging, safe, and fun environment.

"The Youth Development Week is one of the highlights of our training calendar, and we're excited to welcome the next generation of sailors this October," said Alex Cociuban, Training Centre Manager at DOSC.

From tradition to tomorrow
Rooted in the UAE's rich maritime heritage, sailing is thriving in the region like never before. DOSC's youth programmes ensure that momentum continues, creating a pathway for young sailors to grow from first-time beginners into future champions representing the UAE on the global stage.

Registration is now open. For more information, visit dosc.ae
