Ancasta, Europe's leading yacht sales and service group, has reported its most successful September on record, securing new boat sales in excess of €20 million (£17+ million) from the Cannes Yachting Festival and Southampton International Boat Show combined.
The results underscore the strength of Ancasta's multi-brand strategy and extensive market coverage, even as the leisure marine sector continues to face certain challenges.
"The market overall remains relatively tough, but by covering most sectors we're able to provide solutions to a much wider client base," says Stuart Brotherton, Sales Network Director at Ancasta. "After a relatively difficult summer owing to world events, these boat shows delivered really encouraging results. This performance represents a 300% increase in sales compared to the same period last year, achieved across the full breadth of our portfolio."
The success spans Ancasta's diverse line-up, including Prestige, Beneteau Power and Sail, Lagoon Catamarans, and Sanlorenzo and Bluegame through Sanlorenzo Yachts UK, an Ancasta Group company. Brotherton credits the Group's "holistic approach to yachting, supported by a highly professional and experienced team," as instrumental in navigating current market conditions and converting interest into confirmed orders.
Strategic growth: team and franchise network
Building on this momentum, Ancasta is advancing a strategic expansion plan. Recruitment is under way across the Group's 22 offices, and the company is aiming to accelerate growth via its franchise network in the UK and Europe. This expansion is designed to strengthen Ancasta's presence in key territories, extending reach to a wider audience, and elevating service and aftersales support for owners and buyers wherever they are in the world.
"We have built a strong position across Europe through our multi-brand approach and extensive network, and we're determined to build on that further," Brotherton adds. "We're actively pursuing new franchise opportunities in several markets including Greece, Turkey, Montenegro, Portugal, and Italy. With world-class brands, advanced technology, and a robust infrastructure behind us, we are well positioned to capitalise on opportunities as they arise. Even in more challenging times, there are success stories to be found - and that's where Ancasta excels."
Ancasta invites applications from individuals interested in joining its UK team or establishing a franchise in Europe to become part of a dynamic and customer-focused organisation. New team members and partners will play a key role in delivering exceptional service, support, and choice to yacht owners and buyers across an ever-expanding international network.
