Pittwater Sail Expo 2025 a resounding success at the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club

by Pittwater Sail Expo 28 Oct 2025 05:39 UTC

The 2025 Pittwater Sail Expo, held from 24 to 26 October at the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club (RPAYC) in Sydney, was a resounding success. As Australia's largest sailing boat show, the event attracted thousands of visitors across the weekend and celebrated every facet of the sailing lifestyle.

Set against perfect spring weather and the stunning backdrop of Pittwater, this year's show featured more than 35 monohulls and catamarans from leading international and Australian yacht builders. From high-performance racing designs and blue water cruisers to elegant day sailors, the diversity on display captured the imagination of sailors from across the country.

The 2025 edition showcased an impressive international lineup. French, Danish, Dutch, German, Italian, American, and Australian yachts were all represented by their local dealers. Visitors explored the latest innovations in yacht design and technology, stepping aboard new models and meeting with the experts who bring these world-class brands to local waters.

Exhibitors reported strong interest across all categories, with buyers ranging from first-time owners to experienced sailors seeking to upgrade. The atmosphere along the waterfront was lively and welcoming, with crowds taking advantage of the free entry and the chance to experience so many yachts in one place.

In addition to the on-water displays, the Pittwater Sail Expo included a broad range of marine products, accessories, and service providers. The waterfront precinct was filled with stands showcasing rigging and sailmaking services, marine electronics, chandlery, and safety equipment, along with lifestyle brands and sailing apparel. The show also featured community sailing initiatives and training programs designed to encourage participation at every level.

The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club once again proved to be an ideal venue for an event of this scale. With its first-class marina facilities, professional organisation, and strong volunteer support, the club provided a welcoming setting for exhibitors and visitors alike. The show reinforced Sydney's reputation as one of Australia's leading centres for sailing and marine activity.

Organisers expressed their appreciation to exhibitors, sponsors, and volunteers whose support made the event possible. The 2025 Pittwater Sail Expo delivered strong attendance and excellent engagement across the marine industry, setting a high standard for future years.

Planning is already under way for the 2026 Pittwater Sail Expo, which aims to expand on this success with even more yachts, gear, and interactive experiences for sailing enthusiasts.

For anyone with a passion for sailing, whether exploring their first yacht or admiring the latest designs, the Pittwater Sail Expo is a highlight of the national boating calendar.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2026 for another outstanding celebration of sailing.
