Marine Components International Limited (MCI), specialists in warehousing, distribution, sales and technical support for manufacturers of marine products has expanded their offering to include the innovative and revolutionary Hydrotab Interceptor.

As exclusive distributor in the UK, MCI is ready to present this patented trim tab system to customers seeking an instant lift effect, increased safety in foul weather, enhanced fuel economy and improved boat control.

"We are really excited to bring Hydrotab Interceptors to our network in the UK," comments David Ellis Sales & Marketing Manager for Marine Components International.

"This innovative technology is ideal for high-speed vessels, active ride control and fuel-efficiency optimisation. It particularly targets owners of vessels looking for an instant response and is suited for both upgrades to existing systems, refit and new build commercial and leisure vessels."

Hydrotab Interceptor was born out of company founder, Christos and Nick Triantafyllis's desire to help owners of high-speed craft meet a basic need - stability. The company took a concept and transformed to a useful and practical product that it now patented and, on the market, today.

Hydrotab's patented pneumatic system combines robust simplicity with advanced control technology. With no underwater electric motors, gearboxes, or hydraulics, it delivers virtually maintenance-free operation and exceptional reliability, unaffected by marine growth. Intelligent automation optimises trim and stability, while compressed air drives compact interceptor blades with fast, precise response, improving comfort, safety, handling, and fuel efficiency for professionals and recreational boaters alike.

"MCI has earned a strong reputation within the UK marine industry for its technical knowledge, customer support and understanding of the market," comments Nick Triantafyllis, Managing Director at Hydrotab. "Hydrotab is a proven technology, but it differs significantly from conventional trim tab systems, which naturally creates questions and opportunities for customer education. We see MCI as an ideal partner to communicate the benefits of the technology and provide the expert guidance customers expect. We look forward to building the Hydrotab brand together in the UK."

See the Hydrotab Interceptor in action at Seawork with a demonstration unit on the MCI stand G10 alongside Seascour making it's EMEA debut at the show, Groco marine hardware, Lasdrop and BSB fire dampers. Seawork is in Southampton from the 9th to 11th June.
