founded in 1939 by members of the Crater Club of Essex, New York, and maintains a small but active racing fleet of Cape Cod Knockabouts, Flying Scots, and Sunfish. The purpose of the Club is to attract and develop interest in yachting and yacht racing, generally in the southern part of the open waters of Lake Champlain, near Split Rock. Located at Burnham's Landing, Essex, New York.
