Monohull line honours for Comanche in the Rolex Fastnet Race

Jim Clark's 100-ft American Maxi Comanche has claimed monohull line honours at the 2015 Rolex Fastnet Race. Arriving in Plymouth at 05:22 BST on Wednesday morning, Comanche completed the 603-nm offshore race in 2 days, 15 hours, 42 minutes and 26 seconds. The Ken Read-skippered Comanche finished a mere four minutes ahead of her closest rivals, George David's 88-ft Rambler (USA).

Mike Slade's 100-ft Maxi Leopard (GBR) was third finisher at 06:26 followed by the Maxi 72 Momo (CAY) at 06:57.

Multihull line honours was sealed by the Dona Bertarelli-Yann Guichard skippered Spindrift 2, the largest boat in the fleet at 40m/131-ft, who arrived in Plymouth at 22:57.41 BST on Tuesday evening in an elapsed time of two days, 10 hours, 57 minutes and 41 seconds.
