NeilPryde Sailing announces Young Guns 2019 line-up

Neil Pryde Sailing in the UK is proud to announce its new 'Young Guns' line up for 2019.

Two seasoned Young Guns, Callum Davidson-Guild and Max Steele, have just transitioned from single handed dinghies to double handers where they are joined by their new crews. Callum, ranked No 2 in the UK Optimist fleet in both 2016 and 2017 has teamed up with Oscar Cawthorne, who joins NeilPryde Sailing as a new Young Gun to campaign a 420. Oscar has also developed through the Oppy fleet, has an international track record and is currently a member of the current RYA Feva Racing Champions Team.

Max's successes in the RS Tera included being part of the RS Tera Pro National Squad, having won the included winning the UK Inland National Championships, the Swedish Nationals and the EuroCup. His new crew, and latest Neilpryde Sailing Young Guns sign-up, is Joe Warwicker and together they will campaign in the RS Feva class. Joe was Silver Fleet National Champion in the 2018 Topper Nationals aged only 12 and is also a seasoned RS Tera campaigner.

The youngsters, all under 18, are proud to represent NeilPryde Sailing at the highest level of competition. The two new pairings join the rest of the NeilPryde Sailing Young Guns team which are pushing their performance and their NeilPryde Sailing gear - to the max in 2019. Topper national champions Aled Llewellyn-Jones and Ben Willett will continue their campaigns as will Laser Radial champion sisters Flo and Mathilda Nicholls, while Jacob Davidson-Guild, Callum's younger brother, is part of the Welsh National Optimist Squad.
