The advantages of aluminum construction

    Strength and lightness:

Aluminum construction makes it possible to obtain hulls and superstructures that are both very strong and light. Moreover, thanks to its exceptional resistance qualities, an aluminum hull can withstand shocks more easily than a polyester hull. As a result, an aluminum boat is safer, and particularly suitable for open sea sailing.

    Durability:

Aluminum also offers the advantage of unparalleled durability. Little maintenance is required and the structure does not deteriorate over the years. An aluminum boat has no limit to its life span.

    High corrosion resistance:

Aluminum has been used in the marine industry for many years and has always demonstrated its resistance to corrosion and structural fatigue. The current state of knowledge does not allow us to determine the lifespan of an aluminum structure, and to simplify matters, experts consider its longevity as permanent.

    Comfort:

An aluminum hull has excellent thermal and acoustic insulation and is reassuringly solid. It does not creak when sailing and does not emit odors.

    Environment:

Unlike composite, aluminum is fully recyclable at the end of its life. Moreover, it generates little secondary pollution thanks to the low maintenance it requires.

    Safety:

Safety at sea is paramount. Aluminum does not burn in air and does not ignite combustion.

    Customized fittings:

Aluminum allows for more customization possibilities. Thus, it is possible to adapt each boat to the specific needs of the owners. Modifying the deck plan, the layout or the superstructure is entirely possible.

    Resale value:

Aluminum vessels are extremely durable and retain their resale value, due to the fact that the structure does not wear out or deteriorate over time.
