Sailing solo to seven continents

Solo Voyage to 7 Continents © Harry Anderson

My objective is to replicate something I did in my small, single-engine airplane some years ago when I flew solo to 7 continents.

With my arrival in Australia in late October, I am 5/7 finished with my voyage to sail solo to 7 continents. I have already landed in Europe, Africa, South America, and Antarctica. My sailboat Phywave is now in a marina in Darwin waiting out the tropical cyclone season while I'm at home in Bainbridge Island, Washington.

I'll return to Darwin in April to resume my voyage, heading for Cochin, India, for my Asia landing (continent #6). From there I'll make my way south and west, around the tip of Africa, across the Atlantic for the third time, and home to North America (#7). The arrival months shown on the map for the places remaining on my route are approximate. You can find a blog about my voyage in the Sailing section of my website www.phywave.com
