The 45m Tankoa MY GO will make its world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024

by Tankoa Yachts 1 Aug 2024 09:46 UTC 10-15 September 2024

Tankoa Yachts is thrilled to announce the upcoming world debut of the 45 meters M/Y Go, first unit of its new T450 series, at the prestigious Cannes Yachting Festival from the 10th to the 15th of September 2024.

Tankoa T450: Redefining luxury in smaller craft

As the first model under 50 meters from Tankoa Yachts, the T450 expands the shipyard's range of luxury yachts, bringing the builder's values to the market of more compact vessels. This model reaffirms the boutique shipyard's reputation for quality, comfort, innovation, and elegance, setting a new standard in the market for smaller luxury superyachts.

Built with a robust combination of steel and aluminium, the T450 is an innovative project developed by Cassetta - Yacht Design & Architecture. The design maintains Tankoa's timeless aesthetic while introducing bold vertical elements to the superstructure and sleek horizontal lines, creating a distinctive and modern profile.

M/Y Go: The first unit of the T450 series

Introduced to the shipyard by Italian Yacht Group of Ft Lauderdale, the American client for M/Y Go requested an increase in the original gross tonnage from 430GT to 450GT, enhancing the interior volume.

"The all-new Tankoa T450 M/Y Go is a great addition to the Tankoa core fleet of superyachts and it is an incredibly flexible platform on which we can create semi-custom yachts, offering big volumes without compromising on the sleek and elegant lines," says Claudio Corvino, Sales & Business Development Manager for the Americas and Asia-Pacific. "This first unit is a statement of what Tankoa can offer even at this size, and the final result was made possible by great teamwork between the shipyard, the young and enthusiastic client, and Giorgio M. Cassetta's studio."

Exceptional features and design

The main saloon of M/Y Go is a sanctuary of comfort for both the owner and guests, offering stunning 270-degree views of the water. The owner's suite, located forward on the main deck, is a vast private space that is both tranquil and calming, providing the perfect retreat for world-class relaxation and sleep; while on the lower deck, five luxurious guest suites ensure ample accommodation for all visitors. Expansive windows flood the interior with natural light, highlighting the spaciousness of each area. The generous beach club features opening side platforms that wrap around the stern and a sliding sunpad that covers the pool during navigation.
