As a relatively new event, the St. Francis Yacht Club created the Cornerstone Cup to be sailed as a team race regatta on their fleet of matched J/22 one-design sailboats. By special invitation only, three teams competed from St. Francis YC, New York YC, and Royal Thames YC from London, England.

After three days of hard-fought team races right on the waterfront in front of the huge balconies at StFYC, it was the host club that won this year's Cornerstone Cup! Sailing for StFYC were Shawn Bennett, Joe McCoy, McKenzie Wilson, Sam White, Molly Carpet, Jeff Holder, Helen Lord, and Rosalind Meade. Rounding out the podium was New York YC in second, and Royal Thames YC in third.
