ILCA 4 Youth European Championships 2025 in Puck, Poland - Day 3

The Qualifying series concluded on Sunday at the 2025 ILCA 4 Youth European Championships & Open European Trophy in Puck, Poland, after three days of competition and all six scheduled races completed.

The day began as planned, with the first groups heading out onto the water at 11:45. The first Boys' fleet was able to start promptly at 13:00 in light winds of around 5 knots. Meanwhile, the Girls' course experienced unstable conditions, prompting the Race Committee to hoist the AP flag for a brief delay.

Throughout the afternoon, sunny skies, flat water, and a light breeze prevailed, with wind speeds ranging from 4 to 6 knots.

The Boys' Yellow group was the first to return to shore at 16:15, while the Girls' Red group was the last, arriving an hour later.

With the Final Series now ahead, sailors will compete in the Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Emerald fleets. The provisional results are as follows:

Two new races are scheduled for Monday, with the first warning signal set for 12:00 in both racing areas. The bibs ceremony will begin at 10:00 on the stage at NEW Marina, immediately followed by the coaches' meeting.

A record-breaking 440 participants from 41 countries are taking part in the 2025 ILCA Youth European Championships in Puck.

The regatta is organized by the Polish ILCA Class Association Team Poland in cooperation with the Polish Yachting Association and EurILCA, and co-financed by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism and the Marshal's Office of the Pomeranian Voivodeship.

The event is hosted by the City of Puck, Marina Puck, and Invest Puck Sp. z o.o. Honorary patrons include the Ministry of Sport and Tourism and the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Event partners are Devoti Sailing, Raiffeisen Bank, Best, ING for Children Foundation, WWF Poland, Uniwersytet Gdanski, and Coastal Landscape Parks. Media partners are Radio Nowy Swiat and TVP3 Gdansk.
