2026 Newport Bermuda Race: Celebrations of Camaraderie in Bermuda

by Bermuda Race Media 24 Jun 17:19 UTC June 24, 2026

All boats have arrived in Bermuda and so has the final episode of the Gulf Stream Show Powered by Palm Beach Motor Yachts. In this final episode, we celebrate what makes the Newport Bermuda Race one of sailing's most beloved traditions.

From emotional reunions on the dock to the stories shared over a well-earned Goslings Dark 'n Stormy, the finish in Bermuda is where the adventure comes full circle.

We catch up with Selkie and Spirit of Bermuda on their final approach to the Onion Patch before joining crews at Royal Bermuda Yacht Club as they swap stories from their 636-mile crossing and reflect on the challenges, triumphs, and unforgettable moments from the race.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year's Gulf Stream Show. From the start in Newport to the celebrations in Bermuda, it's been an incredible journey.

Meanwhile, the docks at RBYC have filled in dramatically following yesterday's en masse arrival of the fleet. Dark 'N Stormies are flowing and the quintessential camaraderie of the Bermuda Race is palpable. Though the competition is always fierce, once the boats dock in spirits remain high and sailors revel in each other's stories from the Gulf Stream.

Now the party begins! Themed parties are scheduled for tonight, Thursday, and Friday evenings at RBYC—as well as events around Hamilton, such as today's Harbour Nights, Thursday's local craft market, and Friday's Goslings Bash on the Onion Patch. Information on all events is available on the race calendar.

Don't forget to check out photos from the captured by our amazing professional photographers, as well as generous volunteers. Head to Photos.BermudaRace.com and find your crew!
