Sanlorenzo Yachts UK has appointed Joe Hill as Senior Sales Broker and Brokerage Director, strengthening its new yacht sales and brokerage operation as the business continues to expand its presence in the UK.

Part of the Ancasta Group, Sanlorenzo Yachts UK represents the Italian shipyard's range of yachts and superyachts in the UK and Ireland, alongside its innovative Bluegame brand.

With almost 30 years of experience across the marine industry, Hill joins the Sanlorenzo Yachts UK team from a British motor yacht manufacturer, where he has spent the last 11 years focusing on luxury yacht sales and developing specialist knowledge of the large yacht segment - a sector where the complexities of yacht acquisition and ownership demand a highly specialised approach.

His career began working onboard yachts, including several years as a professional captain, before moving into new yacht sales and brokerage. This combination of operational and commercial experience has given Hill a detailed understanding of the practical and technical considerations involved in larger yacht ownership, alongside a proven background in sales, brokerage and new-build projects.

"Joe is an important addition to our sales and brokerage operation," says Nick Hatfield, Managing Director of Sanlorenzo Yachts UK.

"His extensive experience across the luxury yacht market, combined with his time as a captain, gives him invaluable insight into the practicalities of owning a larger yacht. As we continue to increase Sanlorenzo's market share in the UK, Joe's knowledge will further enhance the specialist advice we can offer clients and support our wider growth strategy in the 100ft-plus yacht sector."

In his new role, Hill will represent the full Sanlorenzo and Bluegame fleets while expanding the company's brokerage offering in the larger yacht sector. He will work closely with clients throughout the ownership journey, from initial consultation and model selection through to the highly collaborative 'co-creation' design and build process for which Sanlorenzo is globally recognised.

"I'm delighted to be joining Sanlorenzo Yachts UK," says Hill. "Sanlorenzo's reputation for design, quality and bespoke yacht building is well established, and I'm looking forward to being part of the team, working with existing owners and introducing new clients to the brand.

"This is an exciting opportunity to bring my experience to a company with such a strong product and clear ambition for growth, and I look forward to contributing to the continued development of Sanlorenzo Yachts UK."

Hill will officially take up his new position on 1 October 2026 and will primarily be based at the Sanlorenzo Yachts UK London showroom on Park Lane, Mayfair.
