Ladies who lunch will be treated to the height of luxury and sophistication, hosted onboard the award-winning and covetable Pure Adrenalin superyacht for the Women on Water luncheon, Saturday 24 May, during the 2014 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
A familiar sight on the Broadwater and Brisbane River, the 27-metre luxury motor yacht specialises in exclusive, corporate and live-aboard charters on the East Coast of Australia from Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Gold Coast, Great Barrier Reef and Sydney.
A custom-designed, wave piercing catamaran, she is a one-of-a-kind vessel that is positioned as the ultimate entertaining venue.
Boasting massive deck areas both open air and under cover, she provides premium viewing platforms and a luxurious all weather venue. She is meticulously maintained and operated by a full time, professional crew hosting a service that offers a comfortable and friendly white boat experience.
At this year’s Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, Pure Adrenalin will be the venue for the most elegant day out on the water – a round trip cruise on the Coomera River, complete with delectable lunch, champagne, entertainment, prizes and more!
'She’s the ideal vessel for enjoying a relaxing and leisurely cruise, with ample deck space, very stable, luxurious appointments, all mod-cons and she looks great on the water!' says skipper, Brett Lakey. 'The guests for the Women on Water lunch cruise will be absolutely thrilled with Pure Adrenalin. She’s a very social and very beautiful boat.'
Brett took on Pure Adrenalin 10 years ago and counts among the highlights of his career as hosting Queen Elizabeth when she was guest of Premier Anna Bligh on a visit to Brisbane.
Prior to this, Lakey was involved in eco-tourism in Brisbane and around the islands of the Great Barrier Reef, as well as boat charters and privately owned yachts out of Florida, Mexico and the Bahamas.
But it’s Pure Adrenalin that occupies his focus these days and he’s headed for SCIBS with the aim of promoting his glamorous vessel and its versatile offering.
'Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show is a great opportunity for us to gain exposure for the boat,' says Brett. 'A lot of people know the boat, but haven’t had a chance to see it. At the boat show they can come onboard, see for themselves and consider the concept of a charter for family vacations, photo shoots, corporate events, staff incentives, anniversaries, weddings, private functions – anything you can think of!'
According to Brett, luxury charters are on the rise due to the scope and freedom they provide.
'People can spend quality time with family and friends, enjoy new scenery every day without the hassle of driving, and we turn on the 5-star service and catering. We offer charters around Brisbane and the Gold Coast, day charters around Moreton Bay for up to 50 guests, or longer charters for smaller groups from five to 10 days, whether that be to Sydney or Far North Queensland.'
Also launching during SCIBS is Brett’s new online marine directory which delivers access to a host of boating services such as training, licensing and charters, and eventually employment. Known as marineseek, the site will allow visitors to access information in all categories and then various businesses will send quotes back for you to compare.
