Ferretti Yachts, Pershing and Riva appoint Indo dealers Yacht Sourcing

The occasion was marked by a splendid reception in Bali, at the Métis Restaurant and Gallery on trendy Seminyak strip. More than 300 members of the international yachting industry, high society A-Listers and corporate and media personalities were present at the celebratory event, complete with a fashion show, entertainment, and signature F&B by the island’s most prestigious venue.

There has been huge growth in the Asian boating scene of late, presenting many promising opportunities in the luxury yachting industry. Southeast Asia, and especially Indonesia, is well on its way to becoming the “Caribbean of the East” given its lush tropical landscapes and pristine marine cruising grounds, dotted with over 18,300 islands (according to the National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN). Of those, only 922 are permanently inhabited, and many of the remainder are sufficiently off the beaten track as to be virtually undiscovered. Without a doubt, the best way to explore Indonesia is by boat.
