Editor’s Note: Silva Marine, the former arm of the Silva Group that specialised in the design and development of marine products, has become independent and has been renamed Nexus Marine AB (Nexus is Latin for connection and the Nexus name is already carried on a significant number of products in the existing range and on all the products sold in the USA).
The remainder of the Silva Group is now part of Gerber, focusing on the development, manufacture and distribution of a wide range of equipment for outdoor leisure activities, hunting and health.
Under the powerful umbrella of the new name Nexus Marine, it is business as usual. Nexus will continue to provide full support to all existing Silva Marine product lines and is developing a range of exciting new products to complement and expand the existing range.
