After 12 weeks, Operation Jairo 5 has come to an end. Our crew patrolled the beaches of Padre Ramos, Nicaragua in search for nesting sea turtles. Unfortunately, they only encountered less than 10 nests over a 3-month period. Of the seven species of sea turtles that exist, six are currently endangered.
