Sunday night's prize giving went amazingly, with an incredible buffet and a variety of drinks, the skippers of most of the vessels gave a speech of appreciation. EQ2 & Fidelio took first place for their divisions, taking home the grand pink pigeon trophy which was most appreciated.

It was a great evening of socialising and laughing, Foot-Loose decided that Chao Lay most deserved the blue jacket.

Danica 1 took home the shot glass prize for an outstanding ETA of 5 minutes and Christine took second place with and incredible 4.5 engine hour's vs other participants which averaged between 10-25 engine hours.

It was a long trip from Coco Keeling to Mauritius and the participants were very excited to together again.

After the traditional blessing ceremony with all the religions ambassadors attending, the start from Mauritius to Reunion took place in a 12 knot wind and cloudy sky; the fleet zoomed into the distance with Charm, Lunatix & Christine crossing the starting line ahead of the rest of the fleet.

With only around 130 miles to sail, it will be a very short and fast crossing with the fleet expected to arrive in less than 24 hours.
