Yesterday the Skipper Briefing at Dodo Restaurant was the last event on the programme for the stopover in Reunion.

During the briefing the crews discussed the factors that will be affecting the leg from Reunion to Richards Bay, probably the most challenging passage on the whole World ARC, with wind, waves and current deeply influencing the routing of the crossing.

After the briefing many of the fleet joined together at the Dodo Restaurant to enjoy their last meal together in Reunion; it was a splendid evening and also a good chance to share the routing plans and discuss the different options.

The following morning the crews completed the clearances with the Customs and Immigration officers and after the last preparations the fleet moved through the starting line for the departure of the Leg 14 from Reunion to Richards Bay.
