German shipyard exhibits at the Palma International Boat Show and at the Hamburg ancora Yacht Festival. A Y7 is docked in each show.
The Palma International Boat Show marks, albeit unofficially, the start of the season in the Mediterranean: scheduled from April 28 to May 1, this year's show will once again attract over 200 exhibitors and, of course, thousands of visitors.
In the Moll Vell marina, just below Palma's cathedral, YYachts will also be docking a yacht. This year it will be a nearly 22-meter-long Y7, commissioned from YYachts by a well-known industrial designer, which has some very special features. Among other things, she shows a modern maritime interior and a layout designed for long family cruises.
Dirk Zademack, Managing Partner at YYachts, says, "The show in Palma is always a homecoming for us because many YYachts owners have their yachts moored on the island or even live here. There is always a lot of interest in YYachts at the show."
Less than three weeks after the Palma Show, YYachts will then exhibit for the first time at a trade fair on the Baltic coast. A Y7 will also be at the Hamburg ancora Yachtfestival, an inwater show in Neustadt-Holstein with around 160 exhibits, from May 20 to 22, making it the largest sailing yacht at the festival. She can be compared to the first Y7 "Bella"; her interior was developed by Copenhagen-based studio Norm Architects in cooperation with YYachts' design team. Dirk Zademack: "By participating in the Hamburg ancora yacht festival, we can present a freshly delivered model virtually on our doorstep to our Scandinavian and, of course, North German prospective customers. A YYacht will even have its home port on the Danish coast in the future and will not be moved to the Mediterranean for the time being.
