The fourth day of the FAREAST 28R European Sailing Championship in Limassol presented challenging weather conditions right from the start. In the morning, it became apparent that there wouldn't be sufficient wind for racing.

Following a brief adjournment, a window of opportunity emerged, and a 4-6 knot sailing session took place. During this time, the wind intensity increased, adding an extra layer of complexity to the competition. At the only completed race, Sergei Kostevitch's Bravo finished first, followed by Par Svardson's Happy Yachting, with Jonas Svensson on Drake taking the third position.

However, the challenging conditions led to the second race being canceled. This decision was primarily influenced by the constraints posed by the approaching time limit, dictated by the imminent sunset. Additionally, there was a notable decline in the intensity of the wind, further complicating the feasibility of continuing the race.

As the fourth day concluded, the stage is set for the final day of this historic championship, where the ultimate outcome of the closely contested battles among sailors will be decided.

Results after Day 4: (ten races)

Par Svardson (SWE) - 10pts
Ryzkhov Nikolai (ROU) - 19pts
Jonas Svensson (SWE) - 25pts
Sergei Kostevitch (CYP) - 26pts
