GOST® (Global Ocean Security Technologies), a world leader in marine security, tracking, monitoring and video surveillance systems, announced today that the company has joined forces with KVH Industries, global leader in mobile connectivity, to launch a new range of superyacht security platforms: the GOST Superyacht Security Packages.

The packages combine GOST's Apparition, the cutting-edge touchscreen marine security, monitoring and tracking system designed with large yachts in mind, with KVH's CommBox Edge Communications Gateway, which delivers seamless integration and control for every communication channel imaginable. Together, the two technologies provide a brand-new video surveillance platform that gives users levels of security, access and control unprecedented in the industry.

"We're thrilled to be partnering with KVH to provide these packages to superyacht crews all over the world," said Brian Kane, CTO, GOST. "Between our best-in-class security technology and the powerful connectivity of their communications interface, we're prepared to deliver the most enhanced sense of safety and security for boaters."

"Connecting crews to their vessels is of paramount importance to us, and collaborating with GOST on these packages has been very exciting," said Jim George, Vice President of Global Leisure Sales, KVH. "We're confident that superyacht owners and operators will appreciate the peace of mind that these systems are able to provide."

The new platform will enable owners, captains and crew to remotely monitor all activities on board the vessel at any time, from anywhere in the world, through GOST's smartphone applications. The security system includes motion-detected activation and will send notifications about data usage, network activity and any other relevant information using KVH's communication channels.
