Seven Seas Cruising Association (SSCA) is announcing its new Heading North: Chesapeake Bay Meander program for 2021. A 'meander' is 'cruising where the currents, tides and weather takes a vessel; it's the perfect way to enjoy your boats in these protected waterways.

The webinars will introduce cruisers to lovely gunk-holes and anchorages from Hampton into the far northern reaches of the Bay. Additionally, webinar presenters will cover topics such as staying in contact with other cruisers, making friends, finding buddy boats, connecting and enjoying the casual and "flow with the season" life style.

There is also a free Hampton VA: A Cruisers' Destination webinar, presented live March 26, with the live-stream and recording found on the SSCA YouTube Channel for later viewing.

Then join a May 6th, webinar called Heading North: Chesapeake Bay Meander. The key panelist will be Waterway Guide Ed Tillett, Editor-in-Chief, Waterway Guide Media, who will share his knowledge and expertise. During this event, view Chesapeake Bay Waterway Destinations, and use Waterway Guides to design your cruising plans for the Bay. Discussions will include weather and tides, charts, and Bay cruising by knowledgeable experts.

SSCA's Event Schedule for webinars is at www.ssca.org. But if you can't attend, don't worry, all webinars will be recorded for later viewing on the SSCA YouTube Channel and on Seven Seas University.

Plus, there is more for boats heading to the North East! Based on member requests, SSCA will be presenting two additional cruising webinars; the Heading North: Maine, and a guide to a SSCA Penobscot Bay Meander. The webinar series of info webinars with experts will describe the routes, places and things to do in various cruising areas. Dates for these webinars will be announced soon.

Members and non-members should access the Seven Seas Cruising Association channel on YouTube.
